The annual SPS Drama Monologue Competition took place in the Dorfman Theatre on Thursday and the range of extracts was diverse: theatrical favourites from Shakespeare, Moliere and Stoppard sat alongside speeches from Breaking Bad and The Sopranos.
Congratulations to Sam Christie (Fifth Form) for winning the Junior (Fourth – Sixth Form) category, with Alex Khosrowpanah-Falcone (Fifth Form) and Arav Goel (Fifth Form) receiving special commendation. In the Senior category, the winner was Cillian Knowles (Lower Eighth), with both Rufus Goodman (Lower Eighth) and Felix May (Lower Eighth) singled out for special commendation.
