Head for the Day – Elliott’s report
It was very fun walking around as the Head and I found the way the boys in my year were treating me was very funny. Going into one of the Lower First classes was a fun experience and I enjoyed helping them with maths. It was cool getting to know more about the new building that will be built.
During break, I went out to the pitches and got mobbed by all the boys in my year, then scored a goal in football (which was definitely not rigged because I was the head master). Giving a parent a tour of the school was fun and they seemed excited by the nice drama and art facilities.
Then I observed a bit of a chaotic science lesson (I later learned it was deliberately chaotic) which started off with someone spilling lots of water on the floor. There were also lots of bees in the classroom and when they tried to play a video it kept on showing Grammarly ads, then the TV started glitching. Then I went around to some of the classes of the people in my year, and they were all excited to see me.
After having lunch with the teachers, I went to chess club and played a game of chess, which I won. After that, all that is now left is to write this, give out a Head’s Award and finish the day with Games.
Mr Altberger’s Head for the Day awards were given to:
Ayaan in L1A for the tidiest alcove
Nat in U1A for the tidiest alcove.
Mr Altberger was especially impressed to see that L1A and U1A as a whole had extremely tidy alcoves which made the final decisions very difficult.
