Pauline Jazz Musicians Shine at Pizza Express Jazz Club

Our jazz musicians took over the Pizza Express Jazz Club on Dean Street on Sunday afternoon to a packed and enthusiastic audience.

Our Quintet, Combo, Swing Band, and Big Band were all in action, playing a variety of charts: everything from familiar standards like Autumn Leaves to mid-century classics like Sonny Rollins’ Pent-Up House and even the theme from Shaft. The combination of performing in a Soho jazz club and enjoying pizza seems a winning formula for our Pauline musicians, so we hope to make this venue a regular fixture for Autumn Terms to come.
