Paulines Alex Engstrom, Nico Hughes, Matteo Perper and Ivo Macdonald did particularly well at the National School’s Rackets Doubles Championships at the end of last month, managing to reach the finals against Eton.
Alex and Nico were partnered for the first pairs match, while Matteo and Ivo formed the second pair. Unfortunately, they narrowly missed out on wins against strong opponents, but all four boys put in an excellent performance and we congratulate them on their efforts.
The Junior Colts pair of Dexter Conrad and Ben Samuelson also enjoyed a successful championship in the U15 event when they defeated third seeds Tonbridge in the quarter finals, but were knocked out of the semi-finals.
