On Friday 30 September, 18 Upper Eighth pupils studying Politics took a day trip to visit the EU Parliament and NATO HQ in Brussels.
At the EU Parliament, the group had a Q&A session with a British EU civil servant and then toured the hemicycle parliament chamber. At NATO HQ, they enjoyed briefings on the role of the UK NATO delegation, the 2022 Madrid Summit and the new Strategic Concept, as well as an overview of careers in UK defence and diplomacy from MoD and FCDO staff and a photo opportunity at the front of NATO HQ.
