At the weekend, the Boat Club’s senior and J16 squads had their first races of the season.
At Wallingford Long Distance Sculls on Saturday, 41 pupils were in action. Alp won the J16 single scull competition, whilst Philip and Felix managed to take first and second place in the J17 single sculls category.
On Sunday, 26 pupils went out again to row for the school. Philip and Felix teamed up to win the J18 pairs category at the Pairs Head on home water. They were beaten in their boat class only by a pair of Olympians from Tokyo 2020. Patrick and Kynan lead the way for the J16 squad by winning the J16 double sculls race.
