Rowing Update – 10 June 2021

Six crews took part in this year’s National Schools’ Regatta on Dorney Lake on 29-30 May.

The results were as follows:

3^rd VIII 2^nd in the A final

2^nd VIII 5^th in the A final

1^st VIII 3^rd in the A final

J16 VIII 1^st in the B final

Many congratulations to the J16 and 3^rd VIII in particular.

Then on Monday 31 May our U15 crews took part in the Junior Sculling Regatta at Dorney Lake. Many congratulations to the U15 VIII A and B crews who came 3^rd and 1^st respectively in the A and B finals and the J15 IV crew who came 4^th in their A final.

Our crews are now concentrating on the next big event which will be Henley Royal Regatta on 11-15 August.

In addition, four Old Paulines represented Great Britain in the 2021 World Rowing Cup III in Sabaudia, Italy. Calvin Tarczy & Douwe deGraaf came second in the pair (2-), David Ambler came second in the four (4-) & Freddie Davidson came 5^th in the four (4-)
