Well done for a pleasing performance on Saturday – we won the block against RGS Guildford. A special mention to the U14s for a clean sweep of the age group. Please see below for the results.
The U16Cs, having gone the entire season without a win and with a points difference of 20 for 205 against, things were optimistic going into RGS Guildford. Going down to 9 aside due to various injuries in the teams above, the score was 14-14 going into the final play. Jack Morris (the hooker) delegated himself to slot into the fly half position, received the ball from the back of a scrum and proceeded to drop kick the ball from outside the opposing 22 between the posts, giving St Paul’s the win 17-14. Que manic celebrations as everyone erupted in triumph for a game that will long live in the memory.
