Ronit and Faris, both in Upper Eighth, have been awarded special commendations for their outstanding essays in the R.A Butler Prize Competition, for essays on Politics and International Studies.
Candidates are invited each year to submit an essay in response to a choice of general questions released in March, with final submissions due in August. The competition is jointly organised by Trinity College, Cambridge, and the University’s Department of Politics and International Studies. This year’s competition attracted more than 700 entrants.
The prize was established in memory of Lord Butler, former Master of Trinity and a distinguished politician best known for introducing free secondary education for all students in the UK.
Congratulations Ronit and Faris on this fantastic achievement!
