Ellie Sleeman - Director of Development & Engagement
Ellie is the Director of Development & Engagment. She heads up the St Paul’s Community team (which oversees relationships with parents, past parents and Old Paulines) and the Communication and Marketing Department, manages relationships with principal donors and supporters and develops the engagement and fundraising strategies for the school.
Ellie joined St Paul’s in 2017 bringing with her vast experience across the corporate, education and charity sectors including most recently senior roles at Wellington College and the Roundhouse.
Alex Wilson - Associate Director, Pauline Relations
Alex is the Associate Director, Pauline Relations. He manages key relationships across the community and school from both an engagement and fundraising perspective. He also continues to be involved in the academic life of the school retaining his role as a tutor, interviewer in admissions and sits on the Education Executive.
After a brief career practising as a lawyer, Alex first joined St Paul’s in 1991 as a Classics Master, going on to hold the position of Director of Sport and then Senior Undermaster from 2001. He taught Latin, Greek and Ancient History for over 20 years running a similar number of classical trips to Italy and Greece, and was an integral part of the Sports department coaching Cricket, Rugby and Fives. Alex joined the St Paul’s Community Office in 2017.
Ceri Jones - Head of Community Engagement
Ceri is the Head of Community Engagement. She develops the events and engagement strategy for the whole Pauline Community. This includes events, stewardship, professional networking, young alumni engagement and volunteering. Ceri is a key point of contact for volunteer groups including the Old Pauline Club.
Ceri joined St Paul’s in 2015 to manage the alumni relations programme. She has experience across the education sector including the University of Reading and the University of Westminster.
Jessica Silvester – Head of Marketing and Communications
Jessica is the Head of Marketing and Communications. She is responsible for key marketing support within the external relations department, helping deliver branding, website and social strategy for the school and fundraising campaigns.
Jessica joined St Paul’s in November 2018 from her previous role as Senior Marketing & Press Manager for the Royal Albert Hall. She is a Chartered Marketer with broad experience in the arts and media sectors.
Samantha Bushell – Development Manager
Sam is the Development Manager. She is responsible for implementing the fundraising strategy across the St Paul’s School community, with a particular focus on the regular giving and legacy programmes.
Sam joined St Paul’s in 2018 October from a similar role at an international boarding school in Surrey and has broad experience of alumni relations and fundraising in education.
Andrea Hudson - Operations Manager and Personal Assistant to the Director of Development & Engagement
Andrea is the Operations Manager and Personal Assistant. She leads the team's data strategy, develops enrichment projects and oversees gift management.
Andrea joined St Paul’s in 2014 and has a wealth of experience across the independent schools sector including Marlborough College, St James & The Abbey, RGS Worcester and Downe House.
Sarah Griffett – Events Manager
Sarah is the Events Manager. She overseas the School’s Events programme leading on major school events, events processes and supporting the Parents’ Groups.
Sarah joined St Paul’s in August 2017 from the events team at Virgin Racing. Sarah graduated from the University of Winchester with a BA in Drama and Theatre Arts.
Olivia Levins - Engagement & Events Officer
Olivia is the Engagement & Events Officer. She is responsible for the day-to-day delivering of events management, volunteering, careers and networking programmes and donor care.
Olivia joined St Paul’s in October 2018 from Borderline, a charity which helps homeless Scots in Greater London. She graduated from the University of Nottingham with a BA in Politics and International Relations in 2017.
Viera Ghods - Development and Alumni Administrator
Viera is the Development and Alumni Administrator. She is the first point of call for any queries about the St Paul’s Community programme and works on events, data and donor programmes.
Viera joined St Paul’s in 2009 as Campaign Administrator to support the Renewal Campaign, having previously worked in the charity sector.
Tim Gillum - Communications and Marketing Assistant
Tim is the Communications and Marketing Assistant. He is the first point of call for the Communications and Marketing Office and works on day-to-day social media, newsletters and publications.
Tim spent time after graduating from the University of Edinburgh running an events company before joining us in January 2019.
