Squash National Schools Championships – First Round Results

This week, the U16A and U19 squash teams competed in the first round of the National Schools Championships.

The U19 squash team competed against. Whitgift, Brentwood and Wilson’s School.

The team consisted of James Rossiter, Vikram Bhamre, Neil Prabhu, Emerick McMahon and Adrian Siniscalco. After convincing wins against Whitgift (4-1) and Brentwood (5-0), it came down to a match against Wilson’s School for top spot in the group. Wilson’s had some strong players, but our strength and depth saw us run out 3-2 winners to top the group and qualify for the second qualifying round after Christmas.

The U16A team faced a tough group, including Epsom and Sevenoaks. They finished 2^nd to progress to the next round after Christmas. The team included Adrian Siniscalco (Fifth Form), Ben Haile, Nikhil Dhar, Nikhil Malik and Zachary Joseph (all Sixth Form).
