Last weekend saw London Swimming host its International Open Meet.
Hosting clubs from around the nation, the meet serves as a competition for swimmers to qualify for the 2019 British Summer Championships taking place this July, as well as the English Summer Championships in August.
Malachi Cohen, representing St Paul’s Aquatics, broke his lifetime personal best in both the 400 metre freestyle and the 100 metre fly, with times of 4:15:66 and 1:00:42 respectively. After a very successful London Swimming National Time Trial and Regionals Championship, where he won bronze medals in the 400 metre freestyle and 200 metre fly, Malachi will travel in August to Sheffield to represent St Pauls Aquatics at the English Summer Championships.
