St Paul’s Juniors Cricket tour to St Lucia

After several weeks of pre-season nets on chilly Tuesday mornings, 22 members of the Senior Cricket Squad travelled to the Caribbean Island of St Lucia at the start of the Easter holiday to play cricket.

The trip had many highlights as you might expect, but the important business of the cricket remained at the forefront.

After losing the first two matches to rain, there followed eight more contests on some beautiful grounds, including the sensational Daren Sammy Test Match Arena, that saw the boys win 6, draw one and lose one.

Some splendid performances with bat and ball bode well for the rigours of the domestic season ahead.
