St Paul’s Juniors / Daily life

Through our charity initiatives boys are actively encouraged to give of themselves as well as contributing financially. The School has one main charity for which the boys raise money through mufti days, charity fetes, the Christmas Fayre and other initiatives. The charity is chosen by the whole school from suggestions put forward by the School Council. The current chosen charity is Age UK.

Although the official charity is chosen each year, we wholeheartedly encourage the smaller, independent projects which individual pupils, Forms or staff organise on an ad-hoc basis. Such initiatives usually reflect crises occurring across the world, or are linked to an individual pupil who has benefited from, or feels a close attachment to a certain charity.

Minutes of each meeting are published on the school intranet and Council notice board, as well as being passed to the Head for consideration and comment. The twenty two Form Representatives who attend each meeting are supported by the Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary and Publicity Officer, who are also elected on a yearly basis.
