What better way to spend World Book Day than with 72 Lower Second Years and 10 excitable staff on the annual trip to Warner Bros. Harry Potter Studio Tour?
This incredible place houses all the who's, how's, when's, where's and what's of the cinematic adaptations of the world's best-selling book series. The first was released 22 years ago and even though the films wrapped up in 2011, both mediums still inspire and engage young people and adults across the globe.
There are, of course, many lessons to be learned; curricular links to Maths, English, Science, Art, Music, Drama and Art but there is also an abundance of practical applications of some of the values that we aim to exemplify at St Paul's Juniors; collaboration, patience, curiosity and creativity.
This trip is an incredibly special one. And it was a delight to see so many of our boys engrossed and absorbed in the magic.
Until next year...
