St Paul’s Juniors / Juniors News

During last Saturday’s Open Day, the Junior Engineering department raised a whopping £316 for the Poppy appeal.

The boys sewed beautiful poppies and made take away kits for the visitors who donated generously.

Two of the helpers, Sai and Rohan in U2, wrote the following poem to thank those who donated.

Together we remember

Those who have fought

By wearing these Poppies

And sparing a thought.

On Open Day, we did stitch,

Remembering those who fought in a ditch,

As people came and toured

We made sure they weren’t bored

We must say thank you, to those who donated

We know that our time, was not wasted!
