This year, both teams at U9 and both at U11 qualified to compete in the semi-finals of this tough competition.
On Saturday 12 May, 24 boys with their parents in tow arrived at Bristol Grammar School for an intense day of games. The competition was held over 5 rounds and although all teams had a strong start, they had a bit of a tough time in rounds 3 and 4. They still did a fantastic job, with the U9A team and U11A teams finishing in the gold bracket and the B teams picking up silver places. Unfortunately, it was not quite enough to secure a place in this year’s final although the U9A team were particularly close to qualification. Well done to all the players and a big thank you to Mr Hodgson and Mr Coleman for coming to help on the day. I would like to thank the parents who came on the day too; your support was fantastic.
- Mr James, Head of Third Years
