St Paul’s triumph over Eton and Marlborough
St Paul’s challenged Eton College and Marlborough at the annual three-way tournament earlier in January. To open their competitive season in style, the swim team sounded a warning that they were back and better than ever.
Entering the meet as something of the underdog given the absence of several of the sixth form swatting for mocks, St Paul’s triumphed in two relays and four individual events to reinforce their pound-for-pound credentials nationally.
It was a good outing for St Paul’s, and one that bodes well for the Otter Relay and Bath Cup meets later in the year.
