Improvisation Society

St Paul’s is particularly proud of its Improvisation Society

ImpSoc is the school’s improvisation club. Set up by students, the club performs regularly to the schoolwide audience.

St Paul’s is particularly proud of its Improvisation Society. The weekly workshops are open to boys of all years who enjoy both watching comedy being created and taking part in games and sketches that are made up on the spot. Each term leading members of the society perform live to a packed Pepys Theatre.

It is no surprise that Old Paulines are part of improv troupes at University and are even established members of the national comedy circuit, having gained the experience to improve their skills, develop confidence and trial ideas in a supportive environment at school.
