British Biology Olympiad

St Paul’s places as top UK school in Biology Olympiad.

At the 2018 British Biology Olympiad 35 medals were awarded to Upper Eighth Pauline biologists. Out of these medals 18 were gold, the highest total we have received in the history of the competition, thus placing St Paul’s as the top UK school in the competition this year. Gold medals are awarded to the top 6.7% of the 7800 pupils who entered the competition. The two top-scoring Paulines, Daniel Atkinson and Matteo Perper, have been invited to compete for a place in the UK Olympiad team at the International Biology Olympiad this summer.
