Congratulations to the J15 Rowing Squad for their performance at Hammersmith Head this weekend.
The A crew won their division (Open J15 8+), coming just 0.1 of a second ahead of a speedy Kings College school crew. The B crew also put in a superb performance, coming across the finish as the fastest J15 B 8+ on the day, whilst the C crew were the second fastest in their category. This was a fantastic effort by all the boys and a superb precursor to the Schools’ Head of the River, taking place on 15 March.
Other notable performances were evident in the J14 squad, with the A crew coming second in their division. This is especially impressive given that many of these boys have only been sculling since Christmas, and several of their opposition had several terms of sculling under their belts!
