Tennis

St Paul’s Tennis has asserted itself as the largest of the summer sports, welcoming pupils ranging from participation to International Tour level.

Competitively, they are a dominant name in the Surrey Schools circuit and rank highly behind both Tennis Academy schools of Reed’s and St George’s.

The school competes in a wide variety of leagues and tournaments across Surrey and the Southern Independent School circuit as well as weekly block fixtures and Nationals at the end of the season. We are proud to put out three teams in all age groups for the block fixtures and compete with the top schools at A team level. The U14s are currently the reigning Surrey League Champions and the school ranks fourth overall in the Southern Independent School League.

As well as representation at the school level, St Paul’s have pupils playing at Regional and International level. The school also have a partnership with Duke’s Meadow for facilities and coaching for all pupils in term time. Derin Acaroglu flies the flag for high-performance tennis and has recently made finals in three of his last for International u18 tour events at 16 years of age.
