From 27 to 29 June, St Paul’s School hosted the Start It Sustainable Entrepreneurship Course.
The course was open to Sixth Form (Year 11) pupils from our West London Partnership Schools. Pupils were responsible for creating a sustainable business which could be either socially or environmentally focused. 200 participants worked in mixed teams to develop a business plan, presentation and advert for each of their initiatives which was then pitched to an expert panel.
There was a host of talks from established entrepreneurs to provide further inspiration. Speakers included: Andy Shovel (founder of THIS), Peter Higgins (founder of Charles Tyrwhitt), and Rob Gardner (founder of Rebalance Earth), and Jessie Frahm (founder of Planet One Point Five).
Congratulations to Team Nature Nest who won the best sustainable concept with their festival tent recycling scheme.
