In the John Locke Economics Essay Competition: Wentao, Dennis (Mingjun), Seyane and Alexander were highly commended, whilst Christian was commended.

In the Cambridge Marshall Essay Competition,  Frederick and Christian were both commended.

In the LSE SU Economics Essay competition: Christian won the competition with his essay on inflation, and Wentao came 2nd with his essay on climate change.
