Staff and pupils organised a 5-week programme of language classes and sports camps over the summer, supporting hundreds of Ukrainian students.
Language classes were run at St Mary’s and sports camps were held at St Paul’s, supporting hundreds of Ukrainian students. The programme was put together by staff (Mr Block, Ms Mee, Mr Roberts and Ms Gaidamashchuk) with 25 Sixth and Lower Eighth formers giving up a week of their holiday to help.
The following pupils earned a special mention in the whole school assembly for each being involved with multiple events/weeks, including other volunteering opportunities over the summer with Colet Mentoring and London Sports Trust: Rex, Sol, Muhammad, Moxuan and Victor.
