Summer Success on the Golf Course

After completing his GCSEs, Shiv (Lower Eighth) has spent a busy summer competing on the golf course and achieving some outstanding results. His handicap has now dropped to an impressive 0.6 and he has enjoyed success at both junior and men’s level competitions.

Here are some of Shiv’s notable successes over the summer:

Runner-Up at the British Junior Leatherhead Classic – 29 July, 2025
He secured second place, finishing with a round of 74 (three over par).

Second Place at Robert Rock Junior Golf Tour – 18 August, 2025
Shiv came second (U16) at the Robert Rock Junior Golf Tour (Justin Rose – Daily Telegraph Qualifier) at Royal Mid Surrey Golf Club, shooting a level par round of 68.

Victory at Muswell Hill Scratch Open – 29 August, 2025
Shiv won the Muswell Hill Scratch Open, shooting a round of 70 (one under par) at Muswell Hill Golf Club. Under very tough weather conditions, he managed his first win in a men’s event.

Strong Showing at the British Junior Tour European Open – 11 to 14 August, 2025
Competing in La Touquet, France, Shiv placed 5th in the 15–18 division and 6th in the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) category.

Third Place at the British Junior Golf Triple H World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) Cup – 26 to 28 August, 2025
Across three rounds (2 over, 4 over, and 7 over) at Highgate, Hartsbourne, and Hertsmere Golf Clubs, Shiv finished 3rd in the 15–18 division of this three-day event.

We are very proud of the progress and consistency that Shiv has shown across such high calibre events.
