Team Firefly raced at the Ford Dunton Technical Centre on Saturday (with the SPJ Team Lucciola racing nearby as well).
FF03 came in second, which is their first podium place since 2019.
The FF03 team comprised: Alex, George, Haris, Ishan, Max Wiseman, Nielay, Shrey, and Theo.
FF03 also won the Engineering award for their new steering wheel, which was designed and manufactured by: George, Haris, Nielay
FF02 trialled their new telemetry system and caused much excitement by having a huge telemetry mast attached to the trailer. They successfully collected their data and will spend the next few days analysing it.
Unfortunately, the rough track at Dunton (combined with very large cat’s eyes in the road) caused FF02 to break down. But the team will have it back up and running for their next race at Dunsfold Park on the 10 September.
The FF02 team comprised: Dev, Ilias, James, James, Neel, Siddharth and Victor
Team Lucciola also competed very well and won the Best Presented Team for their immaculate team kit and fantastic attitude and behaviour on the day. They will be competing at Goodwood next weekend.
