The Boundless Sea: A Human History of the Oceans with David Abulafia OP (1963-67) took us on a journey starting in the days before John Colet, all the way through to the modern day use of the oceans.
David spoke of trade and the links in civilisations, tourism throughout the years, discovery of the Americas and the significant change and impact of global warming on the world’s Oceans.
David dedicated his latest book to those who taught him history, ancient, medieval and modern at St Paul’s – PNB, CED, TEBH, AHM, JRMS, PFT necnon INRD.
