This year’s House triathlon competition had the grand honour of being the first House event to be held in our new Performance and Health Centre (PHC).
Our Fourth Form, Fifth Form and Lower Eighth competitors began on Watt bikes in the PHC before heading to the pool for a super quick swim, finishing with a gruelling run around the school site. Congratulations go to Alex, our Fourth Form winner who, in true triathlon style, was not the fastest in any individual discipline but was the most consistent overall. Congratulations also must go to Rufus (Fifth Form) who led the race from start to finish and to Sol (Lower Eighth) who, despite placing third going into the run, set a new course record. Special congratulations and thanks go to the students who stepped completely out of their comfort zone to take on this multisport challenge.
