On Monday 5 February, 37 pupils in the Sixth, Lower Eighth and Upper Eighth took part in the first round of the Advanced competition of the UK Linguistics Olympiad.
The results have just been released, and this has been the most successful cohort for some time, winning a total of 28 medals. Gold was awarded to the top 5%, Silver to the next 10% and Bronze to the next 20% after that.
