Victor (Fourth Form) won 3rd place in the final of the 9th Alhambra Junior International Guitar Competition – CIGA Junior – in Valencia, where he produced a confident performance against very able guitar players from Spain and France.
Players aged 10 to 24, split across four age categories, from all over the world take part.
Victor was proud to receive special praise from one of the members of the international jury, Dr Madriguera (Dir of Guitar Studies at the School of Arts and Humanities at UT Dallas) and to be invited to perform at the 2023 Texas Youth Guitar competition. This was Victor’s first international competition and he performed in front of an audience including press, cameras and local guitar apasionados.
