Volunteer Opportunities with School Charities

Look out for an invitation to nominate new school charities in the coming weeks.  In the meantime, we would love to offer parents a way to reconnect with our local charities and meet new St Paul’s parents too.

City Harvest collects surplus food to feed those in need around London. Volunteers help in the warehouse sorting donations, preparing deliveries and joining drivers on delivery routes. We are pleased to offer three St Paul’s volunteer dates at the Acton headquarters (W3 7QE) to the community. Please email Brooke (jbrookewhite@hotmail.com) if you would like to join on one of the below dates.

Tuesday 28 September – 8:30am-12pm

Wednesday 6 October – 12-4pm

Wednesday 13 October – 8:30am-12pm

City Harvest is also happy to welcome small volunteer groups of up to eight St Paul’s parents and students age 15 and over on other dates. If you would like to book a volunteer date for your family or a group of parents, please email Kathryn (Kathryn@cityharvest.org.uk) directly stating you are from St Paul’s and the date you would like to come. Dates do get booked up, so it is a good idea to book early.

City Harvest welcomes any donations to their upcoming Harvest Festival.

 Thames21

Thames21 is thrilled to be back running events along the river and would welcome volunteers from St Paul’s to their public events. Volunteers will work to restore London’s waterways, tidy up and provide valuable monitoring services. Please sign up for events here. Note the Big Wet Wipe Count is taking place in Battersea this month and requires many volunteers. All events require advance registration.
