On Sunday 6 February, two teams of five Lower Eighth students participated in this year’s Weizmann UK Safe Cracking Physics and Engineering Competition.
Team ‘GTW’ particularly impressed judges with their smart physics puzzles, and well-designed and put-together build.
Judges praised each team member’s genuine interest and personal role in designing and building their safe.
The team achieved third place and have been invited to the international competition this April.
