Workshop on Boys’ Education

On Thursday 8 February, three Upper Eighth Form pupils attended and presented at a workshop on boys’ education at Mercer’s Hall. The workshop was organised by St Paul’s but included staff representatives from multiple other boys’ schools as well as Tom Batty, the Executive Director of the International Boys’ Schools Coalition. Pupils from Verulam School also spoke. The pupils discussed their experiences of boys’ education and what they felt it needed moving forwards. All agreed that the pupils spoke eloquently, powerfully and with a lot of insight which will no doubt go on to inform future decision making at the schools.
