Young Geographer of the Year Pop-Up Gallery 2023

Every year the boys in the Lower Third and Upper Third compete in the Young Geographer of the Year competition, held by the Royal Geographical Society.

This year, they had to create a poster answering the question ‘A blueprint for the future’. The boys came up with some wonderful entries and on Monday the Geography department was delighted to display those that received a PLATINUM or GOLD award. With the help of Mr Murray, Toby (U3J) and Leon (U3N) we were able to set everything up and welcome parents in at 4pm on the dot.

There was a steady stream of pupils, parents and grandparents throughout the evening, all eager to see the boys work and be inspired for future competitions. The pop-up gallery is a real highlight of the year and a great chance to celebrate the hard work of so many boys. Thank you to all the boys who took part in this year’s competition and to everyone who came to support us on the night.

Mr Brooks

Head of Geography
