Several of our Lower Eighth took part in this year’s Young Philosopher’s Conference on 25 February. Sam Mendelsohn, Aryaman Sarda, Aman Parekh, and Andy Wang gave original papers, and Luca Speciale, Adriel Reyes-Bordado, Rufus Poole, and Louis Williams gave extended responses to papers from pupils from other schools. The Keynote talk was by Harvard Professor Christine Korsgaard’s one of the important moral philosophers working today.
