Student London Schools Symphony Orchestra Performance

Ben Law (Upper Eighth) played Principal Oboe in the London Schools Symphony Orchestra concert at the Barbican last week. It was an ambitious programme that included Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite and Strauss’s Four Last Songs.

The London Schools Symphony Orchestra (LSSO) is a highly selective youth orchestra made up of a wide pool of talent amongst London school pupils. It performs three concerts a year to the highest standards. Ben has been a member of the orchestra for a few years, but this year has had the opportunity to lead the oboe section for the first time.
