Training and Consultancy

In achieving its aim of providing the very best in pastoral care to its pupils, St Paul’s has developed the skills and accreditation required to deliver a broad range of wellbeing and safeguarding related training.

Originally for St Paul’s staff, the school now offers numerous opportunities for other professionals working with young people to join this training at St Paul’s or for you to host your very own course in your setting.

St Paul’s is able to run almost all of the training courses it offers in your own setting, offering you the flexibility to organise high quality INSET that more directly meets the needs of your organisation and staff. To find out more, either see the relevant training course pages or contact Holly Sherington to discuss your bespoke requirements.

The two days were hugely relevant and very practical. The facilitation by Sam and Shelagh was excellent and made the content of the course very accessible and applicable. Despite the serious nature of the course, they made the 2 days fun and engaging. I left the course feeling confident to apply the suicide intervention model and well informed about the issue of suicide. Excellent course.
Director of Performance @ Dukes Education after attending a two day ASIST workshop at St Paul’s.
Our experience in the ASIST Course is one that will greatly impact our work as school counsellors and administrators. ASIST provides caretakers and educators with practical and sensitive strategies for addressing issues ranging from self-harm ideations to immediate cases of suicidal intent. We feel prepared to help support our students and other individuals going through challenging situations and highly recommend the ASIST course to any individuals working in education or with vulnerable populations
