Sport – Age 7-13

Sport plays an integral part in life at St Paul’s Juniors.

Pupils have the opportunity to explore a huge range of activities through our PE, Games and co-curricular programme including rugby, football, cricket, tennis, cross country, athletics, badminton, tag American football, volleyball, unihoc, handball, basketball, aikido, fives, swimming and water polo.

Participation and enjoyment are the key aims of the department, with a focus on developing every pupil’s physical literacy, understanding of sports and the importance of sportsmanship. The school prides itself on providing a clear pathway for the more able athletes (academies, county, regional and national representation, national competitions and domestic and international tours), as well as providing expert teaching and opportunities for every pupil, irrespective of experience.

St Paul’s Juniors has been named one of the top 50 junior and prep schools for cricket in The Cricketer Schools Guide 2020.

You are never really playing an opponent. You are playing yourself, your own high standards, and when you reach your limits that is real joy.
