Volunteering and Charity

Our extensive partnerships and volunteering programme reflects our strong belief in the benefit of creating meaningful and sustainable partnerships which have a positive impact on society and helping others.

The school’s partnership with schools in the maintained sector spans around 30 schools across both primary and secondary schools.

Our work with charities and other organisations focuses on social impact involves volunteering as well as raising awareness and funds.

Volunteering

Whilst there is an opportunity for the Fifth Form to volunteer as part of their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh award, most of the volunteering opportunities start after GCSEs, as part of the summer term short course for Sixth Form and then as part of the Wednesday and Friday afternoon programme in the Eighth Form. Volunteering opportunities range from sports coaching in primary schools to GCSE maths mentoring in secondary schools and supporting the work of homeless shelters. Volunteering is led by Mr Roberts and Ms Mee and the Eighth Form Pauls4All steering group.

Charity

The school supports a number of charities at the local, national and international level. Charity work is led by Mr Taylor and Ms Grogan and the Pauls4All Charity Committee.
