Trips – Age 13-18

St Paul’s has a rich and varied trips programme. Each year there are a huge number of day trips to local destinations and nearly fifty residential trips run across the school.

Our sports teams benefit from pre-season training, mainly in UK destinations for the younger years and then abroad in Europe for the older years. Once every three years we run a major sporting tour to destinations such as Japan or South Africa, and our Rowers are regular competitors at the Head of the Charles in Boston. Firm believers in the benefits of adventure sports and wilderness experiences for pupils’ physical and mental well-being, we have run a wide variety of trips across the UK and all over the world, often in conjunction with St Paul’s Girls’ School, featuring a wide range of adventure sports.

There are language trips and exchanges to Europe, as well as Faculty based trips where recent examples include a Geography trip to Switzerland, Physics to CERN, Classics to Naples and Engineering trip to the Weizmann Institute in Israel. Closer to home there is the annual Philosophy trip to the How the Light Gets In Philosophy Festival, as well as Duke of Edinburgh Bronze in Sussex and Gold in the Lake District and Yorkshire.

Finally, we have an exciting partnerships programme with Beyond Ourselves, which presents opportunities for St Paul’s School pupils are involved in classroom teaching in schools in Zambia.
