The Renewal Campaign

Our renewal campaign plays an integral role in the School’s vision for the future. We have achieved our first goal of funding a £114 million redevelopment of the buildings between 2011 and 2019.

We are already reaping the benefits of the enhanced facilities. A new award-winning Science building was declared open in 2013 and became the first school building in the country to house a tabletop scanning electron microscope (SEM), a research-grade machine.

At the end of 2014 our new Drama Centre and Samuel Pepys Theatre was unveiled, adjacent to the Music School and Wathen Hall, featuring some of the best river views.

In the autumn of 2017, we took possession of the new General Teaching Building containing the dining hall and library. The final phase is scheduled to be completed in early 2020.

Now that the rebuilding of most of the senior school is complete, we are committed to increasing substantially the amount of fee assistance we can offer. If you are interested in supporting our Shaping Our Future campaign, you can find out more here.
