Local Charity Support

Working across St Paul’s Juniors, St Paul’s School and parent groups, the school supports several local charities, especially those that we can help through volunteering as well as fundraising.

We are delighted that Castelnau Community CentreThames 21 and City Harvest have been selected to be supported over the coming year, in addition to FiSH, the St Paul’s Juniors charity of the year.

At St Paul’s Juniors, pupils are actively encouraged to give of themselves as well as contributing financially, targeting the charity of the year. We raise money through mufti days, charity fetes, the Christmas Fayre and other initiatives such as the biennial 3×3 challenge, which on its own raised over £17,000 in 2019 for FiSH.

The challenge encourages pupils to raise money over a three-week period using an initial £3.00 donated by the parents’ committee along with their own entrepreneurial skills, gumption and creativity.

Although an official charity is chosen each year, we wholeheartedly encourage the smaller, independent projects which individual pupils, forms or staff organise on an ad-hoc basis. Such initiatives usually reflect crises occurring across the world, or are linked to an individual pupil who has benefited from, or feels a close attachment to, a certain charity.

St Paul’s Juniors also has a long-running commitment to support Hammersmith and Fulham Foodbank.
