Clubs Afternoon

Tuesday afternoon saw a well-contested end to the Clubs competition.

After weeks for softball, ultimate frisbee and touch rugby, the scores going into the Clubs Afternoon were close, with A and E tied in first place, less that 10 points between D and B (in 3rd and 4th place) and 56 points up for grabs – it was all to play for.

The Clubs Afternoon, running for the second time this year, sees all of the Fourth, Fifth and Lower Eighth Forms involved in a carousel of athletics and football. Each event carried its own set of points, which contributed to the final points tally for the year. It was an absolute joy to see Paulines cheering on their club mates in the relay, commiserating together over missed goals and just generally enjoying each other’s company.

The individual results of events are listed below, but well done to A Club for managing to secure the lead, winning the Inter-Club Trophy for the final time!

Thank you to all the Club Captains (both in the Lower Eighth and Upper Eighth) as well as all the Club Presidents for the amazing work they have done this year and indeed for everything they have done for the Club system over the years!
