Deana Puccio and Allison Havey from the RAP Project will be coming to St Paul’s to present an information evening to parents, about a talk they will be giving to your sons that afternoon.
RAP stands for ‘Raising Awareness and Prevention’. The aim of their pupil talks is to raise awareness about sexual assault and rape and their prevention. The presentation will cover legal definitions of rape and sexual assault, issues around consent, and romantic expectation. The presentation also aims to equip teenagers to understand issues around online pornography, sexting, body image, the influence of social media and the effect on behaviour caused by excessive alcohol consumption.
