Congratulations to Sixth Form pupil Krish who represented the England Schools Association U19s playing against MCC at Lord’s Cricket Ground.
Krish, aged 15, was the youngest player from either team and was also selected for the MCC. He scored an elegant 32 before a back injury prevented him from being able to run. Highlights apart from the match itself were practising on the Lord’s Nursery Ground, dinner in the Long Room for both teams the night before and being umpired by and chatting to one of the legends of the game David Gower. Krish is the first pupil from St Paul’s to have played for England Schools since the 1970s.
