U15 National Schools’ Tennis Championship

The U14s enjoyed a great deal of success at the U15 National Schools’ Tennis Championship.

The Second Pair, Shlok Podder and Louis Ferro, managed to get to the semi-final of the integrated Plate competition with notable wins against Hymer’s, Epsom, Eton, St Peter’s, The Leys, Abingdon and Mill Hill.

The first pair, Adrien Chau and Konstantin Vujnovic progressed to the quarter finals of the main draw, the best performance by a St Paul’s pair for many years. On the way, they had wins against Eton, RGS Newcastle, Leicester Grammar School, New Hall, Winchester and The Leys. They fought hard and played well before losing to St George’s.

What is worthy of note is that all the boys will be eligible to play in the same event next year. They played well, demonstrated a fierce competitiveness and were unfailingly courteous on court.
