As part of his team, the London Mustangs, Nao (Lower Eighth) has won the National Baseball Championship, following a victory against Brighton Baseball Club on Sunday.
The match was hosted by the British Baseball Federation and Nao also received the Most Valued Player award for the Championship series. London Mustangs compete in a UK League of 25 teams and won the championship for the first time this year. The team consists of secondary school and university students, as well as adult players.
Nao has been playing baseball competitively since he was six in New York and Hong Kong. In the summer of 2019, he was playing as the number one pitcher for the National Hong Kong Team against Australia, New Zealand, China, Taiwan, Phillipines, Guam, etc. at the Asia Cup, held in China.
